Vintage 1960s Tillotson Carburetor NEW
NOS, Vintage, Tillotson Carburetor, HW 1 A (Number etched on carb, throttle lever has "013099"), Toledo, Ohio, USA, 1960s, US Military Surplus.
This listing is for 1 - (ONE) carburetor, original box and gasket (shown in photo). The dimensions are approx. 3" X 2 5/8" X 3 5/8".
The carburetor was purchased as U.S. Military surplus in the early 1970s from Alameda Naval Air Station in a Department of Defense Auction.
The carb was originally made for the M274 "Mule", Truck, Platform, Utility, 1/2 Ton, 4X4. Made by Willys, Bowen - McLaughlin - York from 1956 to 1970 and used by the Military into the 1980s. It uses a Willys AO4-4-53 16 HP Engine.
The carburetor is New, Old Stock, never used. There are some scuffs and scratches from storage and age (See photos). The box is banged up and the gasket is brittle, probably not usable.
